Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf

Our first trip to Boston, won't be our last. We most definitely will be back. Huge shout out to Luis in the breakfast area. He made out trip so much better. Most helpful staff member from many Marriott stays we have had over the years. Building is older, but very clean, and the staff have good attention to detail and it shows. It doesn't look old and worn.

Would be 4.5 stars but they dont do halves 😁 these rooms were kind of tired looking. It’s comfortable, just outdated a little. Moving past the rooms, everything else is great including the staff and location. Will definitely stay again! The location is very conveniently located so that you’re really kind of central to everywhere. The city is just a 10-15 minute walk through the dog park and over the locks or, a stroll across the bridge over top.

Just returned from a weekend here. We stayed here several years ago so chose it again because I remember it being a nice place. The location is really nice! Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close to the T, North End and Faneuil Hall. The breakfast was really crowded but was a nice addition. Nothing gourmet but it was nice to have. The rooms are in need of an upgrade! The size is great. Nice having a kitchen and separate bedroom but the furniture looks old and worn. The bathroom needed an update as well. The housekeeping staff was friendly when we saw them. I always choose to stay at Marriotts. The staff is usually very friendly and attentive but I have to say, this was the most unfriendly staff I’ve encountered at a Marriott! When we pulled in on Friday to unload our car, there was a man standing outside. I guess he was the valet? He didn’t greet us or offer valet service. Nothing. Every time we walked by he was on his phone and didn’t even look up! The front desk staff was not quite as unpleasant but never said hello or even looked up to ask how our day was or say have a good day! I’m not that picky of a person and I understand if you’re busy, but it’s nice to be greeted at least once in a while. Not sure I’d stay there again.
